Making Music


 Dear fellow musicians,

   When was the last time you videorecorded yourself playing?  Perhaps some of you are more tech-savvy than I am, and have a little more experience with such things, but I can say that, for me, it was an eye-opening experience.  I've recorded myself many times before in my little home studio, but I had no idea how many faces I made while playing, nor how many mistakes I would make, given that there was a camera watching me.  While a useful exercise, pointing out technical errors and postural issues, it was also a humbling experience.  Here are the few good clips that resulted from far too much time trying to get it right:
